The Bernese Prize for Environmental Research
The „Bernese Prize for Environmental Research“ (henceforth called "Prize") has been created to support disciplinary and interdisciplinary research in the field of ecology and the environment at the University of Berne, Switzerland.
The Prize is funded by 'CSL Behring' AG and 'Energie Wasser Bern ewb'.
The Prize is intended to honour researchers for excellent scientific papers making a socially relevant contribution to the better understanding of environmental issues and/or the solution of related problems.
It is intended primarily for young researchers.
The Committee for the Bernese Prize for Environmental Research is responsible for any matters concerning this Prize, especially for the modalities regarding submission and review of papers, and the assessment of submitted applications.
